As of now, the river expedition Cortalim to San Jacinto Island on the 23rd May, is still on. Bookings are still open.

Last opportunity to learn kayaking before the monsoons!

Goa Kayaking's 9th Introduction to Kayaking and Training Program 2010, will be conducted at the Vainguinim Beach, Dona Paula, from May 14-17, 2010.
This program is being conducted in association with Goa Tourism and Drishti Special Response Services who will look after all the safety aspects and logisticThis

This the last opportunity for those who missed out earlier before the monsoons set in.
Trained members enjoy river and coast kayaking expeditions, on every weekend and public holiday throughout the fair season(October to May).
Training is imparted in the different strokes, safety aspects, basic sea faring skills, identifying the tides, assisting others and leadership and participation in expedition skills.
Trained and certified international water sports instructors (the best in the country) along with our own Goa Kayaking trained members and instructors build confidence and kayaking skills in every trainee.
Two trained lifeguards on a jet ski along with our instructors will always be accompanying the kayakers at all times. (though they really don't need all that!)
just a lot of reassurance that all aspects are taken care of and oh! to satisfy the hordes of anxious and proud Dads' and Mums'!

Last few days for registration for our Panaji program

Thursday April 06, 2010 will be the last date for registration for our last training camp of the season - The 8th Introduction to Kayaking and Training Program 2010.
The camp is due to start April 07-10 & 14-17, 2010.

Our Palolem program cancelled

Bad weather - high winds and rain forced us to cancel our training program at Palolem for Kayak Operators/Hirers.
The program will now be conducted in Palolem, in the first week of October, with the validation to follow at Hollant, Vasco da Gama.
Sorry guys! - the response was terrific lets pick up in October.

8th Introduction to Kayaking and Training Program 2010

Goa Kayaking's 8th Introduction to Kayaking and Training Program will be conducted at Vainguinim Beach, Dona Paula, Panaji from May 7-10 & 14-17, 2010 respectively.

These will be the last programs before the onset of the monsoons.

Both programs will start on the first day at 7.0 am and will finish at 10 am. Thereafter all participants will be divided into convenient batches based on age, etc. and will be allotted convenient time slots to continue with their practice asnd training.

Entries for both programs can be given at Angleys Sports Shop, Opp. Municipal Garden, Panaji or Nobert's Fitness Studio, Miramar Dona Paula road, Panaji.

Its that time of the year again when we conduct our annual Summer Training program in Kayaking.

We hope to have an excellent response and look forward to training a whole new group of enthusiastic kayakers, who will hopefully join us in our weekly sojurns on the rivers and coast of Goa!

This year, in addition to our regular instructors who did duty in the last 4 camps, we hope to empanel 2 more who will hopefully increase the interaction and offer a more wholesome learning experience!
