Minimum numbers is 6 persons and a maximum of 16 persons per expedition to enjoy the sylvan surroundings, appreciate the flora and fauna, wonder at the bird life found on and below the waters.

Kayaking trips for the weekend

Goa Kayaking will be conducting kayaking trips this weekend with a free lunch included after the morning's exertions.

The trips should finish between 11-11.30 am. after which we'll all collect at the local taverna for some welcome chilled beer, loads of fried fish, squids, prawns, mussels and lotsa of sparkling conversation!

The Sal River Paddle - November 2010

Kayaking on a small tributary of the Sal river - this was a trip put together at short notice.

It was nice to see Mike and Sam again with Lauren in tow.

Vivek, Gayatri and son, Omkar were our guides who took us thro' this wetlands' paradise to experience a part of Goa we had never seen!

Rohan, back on land after months at sea, got his feet wet again.

Warren joined us after a long gap and we hope to see him on the waters more often. Mitaxi and Megh(our youngest kayaker) did a double in a single!

 

A lazy, up and down 2 hour paddle on flat waters, is something you must see and experience in Goa.

The Nerul River Paddle - Overcast sky to start with - 8 kayakers booked and paid up, stay back to watch the cricket match happening at Fatorda Stadium - the match that never was!

Nine of us take to the river - a slightly late start, nevertheless it was into the mangroves exploring, seeing and experiencing this tropical wonderland, ONLY accessible by a kayak!
